Cascade Buffalo Ranch!

Has your family been reading about Buffalo Bill, Lewis and Clark, or any other great books about American History that mention buffalo (aka bison)? If so, we recommend calling up Cascade Buffalo Ranch for a tour!

We enjoyed a fabulous field trip to Cascade Buffalo Ranch in Salem, OR! The field trip is free. They do have a store and it'd be might right kind of you folks to support them and thank them by purchasing some of their products at the end of the field trip. :)

The kids (and adults!) learned various facts about buffalo, the individual character of different buffalo on the ranch, the uses Native Americans had for buffalo, ranching buffalo, the challenges of this niche, and the health benefits of this DELICIOUS and healthy lean meat!

Mr. Metz does a great job of engaging
kids and adults in this learning experience!

Once inside their store, we got to see and learn about the
hide and skull of buffalo. These biofacts are great to handle!

This is also where you can purchase some of the most delicious and nutritious meat around!
