Fish Hatchery- Leaburg, OR

So a couple of years ago we visited this fish hatchery with some dear friends of ours. It was sadly a camera-less day... so no pictures to share as of yet... but don't let that stop you from reading this review! :)

The drive is gorgeous! There is a pond with huge and really old sturgeon. The kids were just awed by their size! We had an in depth tour of the Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat and Steelhead that they rear, the kids were able to see the fish eggs in the incubator, the hatchery and they also were able to feed the adult fish! Those critters can sure jump when being fed! (So beware that you may get splashed!)
